Our fleet of 100+ boats is well-maintained and ready to launch from Barton Creek inside Zilker Park, just downstream from Barton Springs Pool.

15-Foot Canoe

Our classic canoes are perfect for families, first-timers, and anyone who wants plenty of room to stretch out. With a center seat option, up to three generations can paddle together. The wide, stable hull makes it forgiving on calm Barton Creek — easy to steer, easy to love.

Single Kayak

Take the creek on your own terms. Our single-seat kayaks have molded seat backs for all-day comfort and a nimble hull that lets you dart in and out of the limestone coves along Barton Creek. Great for solo paddlers and anyone who wants their own adventure.

Tandem Kayak

Paddle in sync with your partner, friend, or adventurous kid. Tandem kayaks are faster than canoes and give both paddlers an active role — ideal for covering the quarter-mile from Barton Creek out to Lady Bird Lake and the downtown skyline.

Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP)

The most scenic vantage point on the water — upright, gliding, the whole Austin skyline ahead of you. Our fiberglass boards have anti-slip mats and cargo netting. Dogs love them too (no life jacket provided for pups — bring your own if you'd like). A little practice and you'll be hooked.

Equipment & Safety Gear

Life Jackets — Every Size

We stock USCG-approved life jackets from infant through adult — included free with every rental. We strongly encourage wearing them throughout your paddle.

Load Limit

Maximum capacity per boat: 2 adults and 2 small children. One adult must be able to act as a rescuer per child. We'll help you find the right boat configuration for your group.

Paddles Included

Every boat comes with the right paddle(s) — adjustable for canoes, included with kayaks, and adjustable SUP paddles for paddleboards. No gear needed from home.

Dogs Welcome

We love dogs. Canoes are the most dog-friendly option — plenty of room to stretch out. SUPs are great for smaller, adventurous dogs. No dog life jackets provided — bring your own if needed.

What to Bring

Cash — we're cash only ($21/hr or $57 all day). ATM 200 ft away at the Zilker Eagle.
Picture ID — required for all rentals.
Sunscreen — apply before you get on the water.
Water — at least 32oz per person per hour in summer.
Clothes you're OK getting wet — sit-on-top kayaks splash.
Closed-toe shoes or sandals with heel straps.
Dry bag for your phone (optional but recommended).
